General RP Questions -- because I'm stupid. T___T
Anyways, sorry for the question but I really just can't wrap my head around the idea. So, first off, we can't start roleplaying yet until we finish our character roster, right? Yuki's is currently a WIP, and I promise to finish it, but I'm just making sure that's the case.
Next off, I don't understand fully the posts you put in the sub-forums within "The World of Fruits Basket". You know how in "Sohma Residence" there are sub-forums like "Shigeru's House" and you posted in the first post of each of these:
"Thread notes: Please indicate the location of the school you are in, and the current date & day. The RP begins on a Sunday, September 1. Also list the RP participants, so as to not get others confused. When you're finished with your plot, please post a finished indicator, and continue RPing in the thread on a different day. This is a community thread, so please be mindful of day/date and participants."
Do we reply to that post to start the RP and where do we list the RP participants and time and date? I don't really understand the whole process since I've never actually done RPs this way before. D= I'm sorry but is there any way you can explain this. Thank you! <3

1. correct. =]
2. The 'subforums' are really just threads. basically, when you make a post, i want it to look like this:
Inside Tohru's Room;; 09.03 Late Afternoon;; Tohru, Hanajima, Uo
Roleplay sample here.
It's a community thread, meaning that anyone who wants to RP in say, shigure's house, will post in that thread. to avoid confusion as to who is RPing with whom [so you don't think that someone is RPing with you when they're not], i require you to mark the date, time of day, and the particpants. yes, you reply to that post. ;]
does this make sense? =X

Hmm... I think I get it. But, what if two different groups want to be in Shigure's house. Like Yuki and Kyo are in the backyard and Tohru is in the kitchen. Do we just put it in the location place in the top of our post but still put both of the RPs within the Shigure's house post? Does that question make sense? D= Thanks in advance!

That's exactly correct. :3 Example:
Post from: Momiji The Living Room;; Late Night 09.04;; Momiji, Tohru
Post from: Yuki In the Garden;; Early afternoon 09.03;; Yuki, Machi
^ something like that. =] since we're on a weekly basis, the date & time of day is extremely important to make sure your character isn't in 2 different places at once. =]

LOL, yes. That would be difficult if our charrie was in two different places at once. Although, I'll just say some stupid excuse like Yuki has an evil twin or something if that ever happens. =D
I think I get it now. Well, that part anyways. But for our first post, since we don't know who is going to respond next, can I just put Yuki as the participants and add on who else is in the room in later posts when people respond? For example:
________________________________________________
1st Post from: Yuki Yuki's Room;; Late Night 09.03;; Yuki ________________________________________________
2nd Post from: Yuki Yuki's Room;; Late Night 09.03;; Yuki, Machi, Kakeru ________________________________________________
Like that? Oh, and thanks for answering my questions. I'm actually understanding this whole process now. =3

Yes, you can do that. =] And you're welcome. xD It's a bit confusing for people not used to this style, so anything I can do to help.
